Day seven highlights

A lot has happened today including ladies softball, basketball and soccer picking up big wins. In volleyball, the United States women’s team defeated China. In tennis, American James Blake lost today to Fernando Gonzalez of China. Blake can still capture a bronze medal in his first Olympic experience. Next week, American Laura Wilkinson will attempt to rebound from a disappointing fifth place finish in 2004’s platform diving competition.
