The USA Women’s Soccer team successfully defended its gold medal from four years ago. They defeated Brazil in overtime by a score of 1 to nothing. The USA Men’s Beach Volleyball team of Philip Dalhausser and Todd Rogers also won Olympic gold. The USA Men’s and Women’s Indoor Volleyball teams will be playing for a gold medal. The USA Men’s Basketball and Baseball teams are looking for semi-final victories. While Mark Lopez and Diana Lopez took silver and bronze for the US in Taekwondo.
