It is the week before the Super Bowl. And the world of football should be relatively quiet.
But thanks to Tim Tebow that will not be the case. Tebow is the most decorated player in the history of college football. Arguably he is one of the best five players in the history of the college game.
He will continue as the most debated player in the game. Tebow is playing in this weekend’s Senior Bowl in Mobile, Alabama. The game is a showcase for college seniors and is the start of their audition for the NFL and the upcoming draft.
Thanks to the presence of Tebow, there will be more media and more coverage of this game than ever before.
How will the former Gator handle the pressure of having every throw broken down and analyzed? My hunch is that he will do just fine.
If the world has not learned by now, Tebow does not play football for himself or to please the NFL scouts. His strong faith in Christ is well known. Playing football for Him is his ministry. He plays to glorify the Lord and he plays to be an ambassador for his Lord and Savior. That has always been the case with Tebow and it will continue to be this weekend.
Tim Tebow has had a unique football journey. The trip will take its next step on Saturday.
